SHELL CONSTRUCTION
• Full Application, Carbon fiber shell construction which meets or exceeds SNELL M2005 & DOT standards. The “AC-12 Carbon” is a true Carbon Fiber composite and resin shell application. Multiple density channel impact absorbing EPS liner. Large eye port opening for greater visibility. Unique CAD generated shell sculpture with three shell sizes for a more comfortable fit. Bottom edge wind deflector reduces the amount of air to the facial area for additional turbulence reduction.
VENTILATION
• Integrated 3rd generation “ACS” Advanced Channeling Ventilation System. Raised air channels combined with 3 forward intake vents and 5 venturi exhaust vents to create a full front to back airflow flushing heat and humidity up and out of the helmet. Adjustable chin vent re-directs air upwards and across the shield interior keeping moisture out of the face shield area. Side chin bar mounted vortex vents create a low-pressure vacuum effect for increased anti-fogging capacity.
INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION
• Removable AquaTrans® “Open Cell” foam interior. Easily removable liner and cheek pads for cleaning or custom fitting. AquaTrans® liner and cheek pads quickly wicks moisture away from the skin. “Open Cell” technology foam allows for increased internal air circulation. Streamline, wrap-around neck roll reduces wind noise. Padded chin strap design. Nylon strap retention snap neatly secures excess chin strap.
SHIELD MECHANISM
• 2nd generation 2 stage compression shield closure system. A 2-stage pivot mechanism, compresses the shield into the eye port gasket upon increased speeds, providing an extremely secure seal. Aero-dynamic flush mounted fit for reduced turbulence noise. Anti-fog resistant hard coated 3D shield. Improved, no guess work, tool-less shield removal and installation. Optically correct 3D design. Shield rated to block 95% of UV radiation. Deluxe helmet storage bag included. Optional Mirrored - RST, high definition (amber), smoke, and tear-off shields available.
